South Cembo Elementary School was established in 1974, a public school located along 4029 Gen. Luna St. of Barangay South Cembo in the City of Makati, Congressional District II. It is a 4-storey building provides conducive learning and teaching environment. Most of the enrollees are bonafide residents of this barangay with estimated population that can accommodate, with 4-organized classes in each grade level. Most of the teachers have earned graduate studies to elevate their educational learning and innovation for the welfare of the learners.
Modesty aside, the school children are free from bullying and child-abuse are safeguarded from any form of harm for they are all well-informed in the importance of a child-friendly school.
Responding to the needs of industry and modern technology, the school started offering the following alternative learning system short courses; A&E, Computer Basic Literacy and Home Care Management.
School facilities are continuously upgraded, improved and renovated to cope with the 21st century education trends. There are the computer rooms, the well–equipped laboratories and spacious classrooms.
It has been under capable hands-on principals who have paved the way for its growth and success. Each one of them has made great and lasting contribution to the school.
